I'm the same way too? is this just something that new car owners do or is it something that EVO owners do? I park far away from people...or I park near the end or somewhere where there is only one on the side of me...and then if thats not available...i look for a car that is in the same league as me and park next to them... dodge challenger, corvette, bmw (325i and up), merc (newer s class)..etc...those type of cars. I figure if I have to park next to cars... i wanna park next to a car that cost as much or more or is in the same or league as ours or higher. Is this just me being stupid and **** or do others feel the same way? I'm a bit OCD (FYI)

I know it sounds a bit "overprotective", but I love my car/s and 'till this day I still have never had any door dings, scuffed bumpers, etc, from parking in a bad spot.
As far as parking next to a car of higher or equal value, not a chance. Usually those cars are leases and people don't give two ****s about them. At least when someone outright owns/finances their property, they are a little more inclined to caring for it a bit more. No offense to those who lease(I've leased), but that's just how the majority of people are.
