Well they're actually hollow on the other side, it cuts off right were the lip visibly ends in the pic. They probably just did it that way for looks more than anything, all I know is my car was naked before without it. lol in any case it'll work out until i can pick up either the cwest kit or the valdi sport.

Here's some pics of my RR
As this is a DD and will not see track time (my IX is the track *****), there was no need to lower the car further and scrape the crap out of the lip. The wheel/tires combo fits perfect with almost "0" rubbing. The only rub occurs at full lock and it rubs the mud flaps a bit.
I put the flaps on in the winter to help with the snow and crud with the intention of taking them off this spring, but I don't know-they've kind of grown on me plus they have been effective in reducing chips.
