Hi, so I'm pretty new at being an Evo owner, but I joined when I first learned about the Evo an 2003 and wanted one ever since. So I traded in my 2007 MazdaSpeed3 for a new Evo X and I just picked her up Sunday....so far I just call her X, lol. Original right? So I took a ride up Mt Diablo in Northern California. From about Sea Level to about 4500ft elevation as you can imagine it's a fun ride. As I was stopped taking pics a new 08 STi drove up. LOL. So at least I'm not the only performance car to have fun on that mountain. What you think of these shots?

Sweet pictures man, looks real good. Reminds me of the mountain roads here in Va, except add the front plate bracket. Ha. And is that really a 15mph sign on that road? Hell I thought we had low speed limits here. I've seen "Max. Safe Speed XXmph" signs before, but not one that low on a road.

That road looks like a perfect layout for a rally infact (Rally Monaco anyone?) and the Evo looks perfectly at home in the twisty bits
