The Ultimate Aggressive Wheel Thread... Evo X Style
#3378
Love the classic Enkei RPF1 in Silver on a WW Evo. I will be ordering my 2013 Evo next month and have a question concerning this wheel and tire sizes. I plan to buy the RPF1 19X10 and need to know what is the thickest tire size that can be fitted to this wheel if I eventually lower the car by say an inch? What is the minimum tire thickness recommended for a decent ride and that looks right for vehicle? Worse case, I can leave suspension at stock height and get a lowered appearance by adding front lip/splitter, side skirts, and perhaps rear skirt. IMO, this particular wheel looks better on the Evo in 19" size, but 18" would be my second choice. I prefer not to roll fenders so will that limit me to 18" wheels?

19's are to big IMO. Also, unless you're buying stock sized wheels you're likely going to have to roll fenders with any offset of +22 and under.. WIth a 9.5 wheel that is..

Nice. I want to get the same setup someday when I get an evo with CE28. I would think you lose a little performance though right?

BTW congrats on the Modified Mag feature.

^ I'm not really trying to be a jerk but my feeling behind it is that if I spent a ton of money on "performance" parts I'd really like to know how they perform.
Too each his own. I can't understand the car show scene and I'm sure you view the track/autox scene as one that likes to beat on nice cars.
