sorry for being MIA fellas, For those of you who know me, I am not a "SHOW but DONT TELL" kinda guy!
I havent been able to surf the internet as much as I'd like due to my crappy work internet (dial-up), so i dont do much surfing until I get home, but with the lakers getting spanked, the wife, blah blah, you married people know the dealio...
Okay, so I thought about it for a bit, and theres really no need for a how-to unless you need step by step instructions on how to remove the front bumper and the fog lights from the bumper....
As far as the "concept" I was toying around with some LED strips that I had from before and they just happened to fit perfectly with a little heat-gunning.... You'll never guess what kind of LEDs they were....
From IKEA!!!! They are called DIODER and you can pick them up at any IKEA store... MAKE SURE YOU PICK UP THE CORRECT ONES though because they come in two types... ALL WHITE, and MULTI-COLORED (lol) unless thats your style, id say get the white ones...
I used double side tape (yes the same stuff i tape my front license plate to my car with LOL) to mount them.
Anyhow, whats nice is that they are 12v ready, so all you do is splice them to the fog light harness and you are good to go (or splice them to wherever you desire)...
MESH is DEFINITELY still in the works, but my car has been out of commission prototyping for more NISEI goodies (which will be released in the next couple of weeks!!!)....
Between prototyping, work, and getting the car ready for the track this weekend, I havent gotten around to finishing my LED project.... but Basically, any LED strip should do. Ebay has some nice waterproof LED strips, and some can even be cut to size...
Any questions, please feel free to ask, Ill reply as I get around to surfing!
In addition, wait until you see the new Nisei Stuff coming out... its gonna be *****ing! I'll be R&D'ing the prototype parts at the track this Saturday at Streets of Willow.... I cant say what yet, but youre more than welcome to come check them out at the track if youre local!
