the noise is bearable, lol, it's not like it's a fart can man. you can hear a tiny bit of air with the windows closed, again only if music is off. it's not even noticeable unless you pay attention. the power difference was noticeable, but... i had a tune FOR the intake so obviously once you take it off it will have consequences. putting the amuse exhaust on negated those losses.

I can totally live with that, as long as its no fart can or droning noise inside the cabin. I am covinced this is the best made intake available for Evo X.
The only downside is exchange rate is killing us here in Canada, but you gonna pay to play

Im still debating on the Amuse exhaust, reason being I have the Jun CF front and side skirts for my MR, pending installation on the rear diffuser because it only fits with straight through exhaust with no canister in the middle. At the same time, I wanted something quiet and the Amuse seems to be just right. Tough call.

hmm that is a tough call. JUN has the trust exhaust on their car, but it's louder than amuse.

Is Amuse one of the most quiet 3" exhaust available? can you hear it inside the cabin at idle and low throttle?

I have made an order for the Gruppe M intake, hopefully it will be here in a few weeks.

What you say the sensor spacer, is it a part that comes with the intake? if so, which part is the spacer in the picture from Gruppe M website:

Would it cause any problem if I'm running the car without it?

if anyone gets this intake, be sure to take off the sensor spacer if you tune the car. it's caused a huge headache for me

The spacer isnt in the picture. It is obvious what the spacer is when you get the intake. Its just a small metal ring that goes between the MAF sensor and the MAF Housing. It is pointed out by name in the instructions. Running the car without it will not cause any problems.

It must been a real pain to find the problem for something so small, definitely lucky for us to know before hand.

Anyway to complete the intake mod, I'm thinking to get the turbo inlet from either Cobb, Perrin, Agency Power or Ralliart. Which would you recommend to go with the Gruppe M?

Ralliart's inlet costs quite a bit more than the others, but it is made of aluminum instead of silicone:

Aside from the sensor spacer, did you guys also take out the 2 bolt spacers between the MAF bolts and nuts? That way, the MAF sensor would sit flush again with the housing.

Please confirm.
