It's too nice to be hidden in the engine bay.

$1800? EIGHTEEN HUNDRED?

I plan on making my own cold air box with an AMS intake, may not be as nice looking but I'll be about $1500 richer.

thanks to all who gave props. on another note, $100 of that was shipping costs from Japan. and lastly, I'll wait to dyno the car, but how many of your regular/average intakes get 25+ hp? not many, and that factored into my decision. if you can afford it, why not?

Put back on the stock, then dyno. Put on the Gruppe M and dyno again.

Ill bet 1800 says you dont gain anywhere close to 25whp.

Wow - major props, that thing looks amazing.
Totally sick!

Yooose got some major ***** or deep pockets to spend that on an intake - either way I'm not going to call you crazy because I drooled on my keyboard when the pics loaded.

we'll see we'll see. soon enough. gruppe m has enough of an awesome rep in japan that i'd believe them over a random poster on a message board. no offense. they advertise their viii/ix intake at a gain of around 8-9 hp, so it's not like they're pumping up huge numbers. but again, dyno soon enough

looks good, but for $300 I can get an open filter, and the buschar fix, and and have $1500 to spend on something that will get me more then 25hp to the wheels....looks good, but I like my CF on the outside, imo.
Good luck on the dyno!
