TomatoEvo,

Ever since I set my sights on that intake I wanted it, the price doesn't matter. Everything about that thing oozes quality and function. Haters will always be just that. It isn't about the gains, it isn't about what it pulls on a dyno or the "But I can get the same gains from a plastic cup and one of my mom's tampons" argument.

Half the people on this forum jumped on a ever growing bandwagon, they didn't even know what a 4G63 was before they signed up on this forum. Yet they defend it with their lives like it is the greatest thing in the world and absolutely bullet proof. The truth is that for most of it's life cycle it was very unreliable (But it is a fantastic motor no doubt).

So I say just ignore the idiots who don't want to spend their precious money on something truly worth it. Let them rice out their Evo's with "The rest of that $1800" on heavy *** polished lip wheels and ****ty coil overs that scrape when riding over a highway expansion joint.

It looks great, congrats!

I would spend the money for sure! like someone said balance and elagance on this peice, seems to make very good gains and the finish is second to none. awesome choice. wich I had the $$$ to blow on one.

HAHAHAHAHA to all the squabling (sp?)

I can imagine 20-something WHP gain in various parts of the powerband, but I KNOW on a stock or relatively stock motor (JUST ABOUT ANY MOTOR), you WON'T see 20-something PEAK WHP from just an intake. *PEAK*

Bottom line, you got a badass looking intake that performs well.

I'm not really even into 'flashy' parts but I can respect someone who demands high quality parts. The whole, "my **** is JDM, yo" fad is pretty lame tho, but if you bought something, with YOUR money, because YOU liked it, and YOU wanted it, then keep on keepin' on brotha!

hell I wouldnt care if it was made by a Korean or a china man it still looks hawt.

btw you can see high gains with just an intake on the X if it changes the maf housing (makes the car run leaner).

Do you know if the filter is washable? Or, does it need to be replaced once it's dirty?

gruppe-m sells replaceable filters on their website, and it also came with instructions for cleaning the filter out. you could go either way

I may order this since the dollar is getting stronger against the yen; you can get it from Gruppe-M's site for $1,400 shipped.
