Lol it's not gonna fly off.

At any rate yeah it'a tad bit short. I'm debating on a oem fq vg right now...but i can't justify it. At least not yet.

you wont regret the FQ, once i trimmed enough for the antenna base i didnt even "test fit" it. i just took the tape off and installed.

how do you know how much to trim? doesn't the area around the antenna have a plastic sort of weather strip?

let me rephrase, i test fitted the area around the antenna base, once that was perfect i didnt test fit the rest of the VG but simply installed it.

i just trimmed little by little until i saw it was lying flat and minimal gaps.

i see. hm...well i decided my vg is gonna stay on for the time being. in the end it's difficult to justify its price tag after i already have one, even knowing that it's a dry carbon piece. maybe when it breaks or fades or something i'll revisit it. thanks for the tip!

The FQ VG looks way better imo. I was seriously considering the Rex VG but looking at the photos now, I'm not feeling it.

Yeah, not close enough. Its not terrible though. I do however like the size of the VG's fins and there layout across the roof.

Is it just me or does it look like they didn't give you the antenna piece that attaches to the VG or was this meant for SSS?
