after seeing a few base gsr and mr, i have to say that the OEM VG is for this antenna base. its not even the nav, but once you get the SSS your antenna base is different.

i really wish it wasnt as i would be all over this in a heartbeat.

Can someone measure how for from the back of the roof to the non sss antenna base is? I got measurements of the OEM VG and think it may actually work.

can someone who has this antenna base measure the length and width of their antenna base?

i THINK their antenna base is smaller compared to ours, hence we can trim the hole on the VG so it will go into the bigger SSS model antenna base.

well I think exact measurements would probably help since I already got exact measurements of the VG opening etc. Can someone jump in with the proper measurements so we can be exact on this.

yeah, you're right. i had SSS when i got the car. i added navi about a couple months later, and the antenna did not change.

or the easiest i would think is to just change antenna bases to that of the base model.

im sure mitsu changed the antenna base for a reason, maybe sirius?

i just pm'd russell and he told me there is no such thing as a VG for the EVO X.

russell does not sell UKDM parts so I don't think he can access UK parts catalog
