This is part of the complete HKS Kansei Ramair package: CF intake box, mushroom inside and the polished intake pipe behind.

Thanks. I have the HKS racing suction kit on my X right now. The Kansei Ramair kit will suite me better since the weather is hot in where i live. With this kit ill get only coled fresh air from outside rather then sucking the mixed hot air in the engine compartment.

Why did you choose to go with Denso intercooler and HKS pipes rather than going with HKS intercooler kit with pipes if you don't mind?

He answered this in post #54, the short answer is that visibility is not good

For exterior, there are Ralliart front spoiler, spoiler intake ducts, frontend and pillar garnishes; HKS Kansei bonnet intake duct, side garnish and tow hook; JUN bulet side mirrors; SARD GT wing and COLT SPEED badge. Handling goodies included CUSCO front/end/bottom struct bars and anti-roll; Ohlins DFV, Advan RZ and Dunlop Z1. Power-wise since it is still running-in there are only HKS ramair intake set, SSQV and mid-tail exhaust. I did like COLT SPEED bonnet dampers and wiper blades very much.
Nice ride you got.
Shanghai, my favorite city.

Greetings from HK.

Your car looks very nicely done. I have also been thinking about the HKS Kansai air box and its good to see some end user pics. Those on Kansai's website are quite vague...

I noticed from your planned mods list that you're thinking about an EVC 5. You may wish to take a bit of caution on using boost controllers on the Evo X as some people have reported issues with the car going into limp mode should boost spike beyond 26psi (assuming you are using the original ECU) This problem is due to safety parameters programmed into the Evo X's ECU and I suspect most tuners in China will not be aware of this.

IMO, if you are after a more refined solution for a noticeable power increase, fly in a tuner with credentials you're comfortable with to do a custom EcuTEK tune. At least that's what I did :-)
