WOW! That is one of the sickest WW Evo I've seen. That is one big @$$ spoiler, but it looks good on your car. I really like the RA air ducts and those mirrors are sweet? Are they RA's too? Great job and can't wait to see your future mods.

Why did you choose to go with Denso intercooler and HKS pipes rather than going with HKS intercooler kit with pipes if you don't mind?
Thats something I need to work out with my tuner to decide further. The pipe is a must for pairing with the final stage of exhaust upgrades. The intercooler is optional unless this becomes more a track car.

They are from JUN. The visibility is so-so esp on rainy days. The only way to keep yourself safe is to keep your close-back clear at any moment......

I noticed from your planned mods list that you're thinking about an EVC 5. You may wish to take a bit of caution on using boost controllers on the Evo X as some people have reported issues with the car going into limp mode should boost spike beyond 26psi (assuming you are using the original ECU) This problem is due to safety parameters programmed into the Evo X's ECU and I suspect most tuners in China will not be aware of this.

IMO, if you are after a more refined solution for a noticeable power increase, fly in a tuner with credentials you're comfortable with to do a custom EcuTEK tune. At least that's what I did :-)
Thanks for reminding. I know it needs professional tuning support in making the EVC idea works and stands here in China. My tuner here is a sort of authorized dealer from HKS and he said he already got a "bullet-proof" mapping for my X. I did challenge him couple of times about the same concern you raised. Anyway, he has close connection with HKS in Japan and also Top Racing in HK to ensure the quality. If anything really goes wrong (knocking on my table), I would ask Top Racing to fly a technican up to Shanghai to fix it.

The mirrors are from JUN. www.junauto.com.jp

In fact, my wing, mirrors and wheels are completely "inspired" (better to say copy) by their track car.

ROFL so much for "light-tuned" lol. That car is so hot, I love it! But I hate those side mirrors. Looks hideous. But everything else is just awesome.
