chargespeed makes a CF replacement for that chrome section.

actually they make CF replacement parts for like every piece of the front bumper/grill area lol

I personally beg to differ with the quality of the dry carbon weave. I think it looks quite far from the stick-on fake pieces.

Carbon Fiber always looks great, but it should've been made as the entire duct. Either way it looks nice.

Although this is an add-on, the opening of this air duct sticks up higher compared to most other replacement ducts, allowing more compressed air to channel through the hood to cool down the turbine.

Dry carbon is carbon fiber with the resin already pre impregnated. Vacuum setup and autoclave required to set the mold, in general most race teams use Dry carbon pieces because of the extra weight and rigidity.

I thought Dry Carbon was actually lighter, since it has less resin and usually not as many layers of carbon.

Correction -- it is lighter, this piece in particular -- I left out "extra weight SAVINGS" from my last post on accident!
