nope you have to remove the rubber piece then it replaces the rubber oem handle

I think you remove the stock one ( I think its glued on) and the new one has two set screws to keep it on

I had the same problem. One morning, I just took it out, put some super glue in it, and put it back in. It sealed in 4 seconds. Never had a problem since then.

If its the stock aluminum one, you'll need to remove the screws first of course, and then try to turn it to break from the glue. I dunno about the stock black handle.
