nice stance. I think your car would look great with carbon fiber trim to replace the chrome on front bumper. Also carbon side vents would look killer.

Wrong. Going too low will cause issues with the geometry.

Looks incredible.

Does this screw with your suspension at all? Does it shorten the lifespan of anything? Screw up the handling?

this car is getting sicker and sicker.

are there really no rubber pieces on the top of the springs and only rears have it?

Looking good! I have been considering the swifts with coilovers on my mind as well. Everyday driveability is my concern as well as overall performance.

Think you could give us an overall driving impression in a few weeks?

The installation of the springs is pretty straight forward, the hardest reach is the rear shock tower nuts as I already have front and rear strut bars in place. A compressor is recommended to make the install quicker, it took us about 2.5 hours for the entire job.

The Swift springs are progressive type similar as the Eibachs that came with the MR, they lowered the car in a conservative amount: F: 1.0"/R: 0.6", with higher spring rates of F: 2.7 - 4.3 kg/R: 2.3 - 4.4 kg. The car looks great with this drop, it narrows down the wheel gap while keeping good ground clearance for daily driving.

It took about two days for the springs to break-in and fully settled themselves. The ride is a little rougher than factory but not unbearable, it got rid of the bouncy ride without being too harsh. The car feels a lot more solid and stable now, you feel more connected to the road.

Brake dive is now minimal and the car exhibits considerably less body roll in the turns. Steering feel is sharper than before as you turn in quicker, the car feels like it now dives in a corner more aggressively and feels more composed in high speed turns. It gives you more confidence in the turns which makes my cornering smoother than before. Overall, the car feels lighter as you can maneuver it in a much quicker response.

This is an excellent upgrade for those who wants a greater level of handling for their street driven X, it gives a great compromise between comfort, handling and cosmetic needs.
