I had Craft Squares on my S2K and will be getting them for the X soon as they are on sale (pretty much the same as the JUN, but should be a little cheaper). I have friends who have had issues with APR mirrors comeing apart from the bases

I dont know how widespread the issues were or if they have fixed the issue though?

It would be helpful if someone can post a picture looking from inside the car towards the mirror to see how much the visiblity has improved over stock dumbo mirror

Anyone remember the mirrors on the prototype X? Those were sweet! Post a pic if you have it.

Craft Squares still kinda of expensive, they'll run you up at least 500 large or more.

JUN Mirrors FTW!

It's about 25% less visibility than the stock Dumbo F-150 type mirrors.

Ya Craft Squares are not cheap, but I had them for a little over 3 years and drove the hell out of the car with no issues at all (other than people bumping them at meets/carshows/or while parked ). I also get them cheaper from homies than MSRP so that helps make the choice easier

I like the fact that they provide a lot more side view (though you lose some verticle view). They all but eliminated the blindspots in the S2K which are pretty bad with the top up. And like the Op I hate making lefts because I cant see the islands around the pillar and the mirror the smaller CS mirrors should help eliminate that issue too.

Less view from side to side or just less verticle view? With the ones for my S I gained side view and lost some verticle view....

It looks much better on the Varis car
These mirrors look comically small on a stock-looking X.

Archie's JUN mirrors look good on his car, but if you don't have any other CF accents, I think they'll look out of place.

The JUN Mirrors gives you more horizontal view. From the driver side you can almost see the blind spot.

But the drawback is that is gives you less vertical view.

APR mirrors dont bolt on directly, I looked into it when an 18 wheeler knocked my stock ones off. You need to custom cut a piece of carbon fiber you can buy from them.

the smaller CF mirror look awesome. but practicality wise is teh lose.

they get bumped by people walking next to your car when parked, which means adjusting them take forever especially for passenger side.

i've had past experience with ganador mirrors on my Z33.. they are awesome.. i'd buy again...and are powered...

I also want to get rid of the stock mirrors. I'm ok with losing some vertical view if it means I can actually see when I turn.

The mirrors on the Varis Evo are the Ganadors with the built in LED turn-signal.

The Rexspeed mirrors appear to be Ganador rip-offs.
