That boot looks really weird now. Maybe you should take it off and trim it a bit.

this will be my next/first mod. Im undecided on a knob but I like the one your rocking. Is it weighted?

How much shorter are the shifts now? Does it feel the putting the car through the gears is much smoother?

Did you install the bushings as well?

Where do you trim the shift boot, at the bottom?

It reduced abt 30% compared to stock..Feels a lot smoother and more positve on every gears downshifting is much more fun now

Yes I installed the base bushing as well replaced the rubber bushings

Boot still the same i didnt trim it..

"smoother"...does it mean less grind & crunch??

you should do a tranny fluid change.. AMSOIL MTG..
i have the same short shifter and bushing.. but after the amsoil mtg, the shifting was smooth like butter..

I ran Redline with BG Synchroshift (i.e. Scott Grey MIX from RRE) in every car I owned. But I heard that AMSoil is even better than that combo.
