Here comes my Stage 2 update:
Stage 2:
1. Motul 15W50 + MomoCorsa Magnetic Oil Filter
2. Cusco Oil Tank
3. Motul Brake Oil
4. HKS EVC 5 (35th anniversary) Turbo Controller
5. Ralliart Thermostat
6. Billion Anti-freeze Coolant
7. HKS M40XL (= 8 degree) Spark Plugs
8. Samco Pipes
9. Sun Auto Electronic Stabilizer
10. Black-out Remaing Chrome Body Parts
11. Lower suspension adjustment
12. Lower GT wing adjustment
The run-in finished at around 1200km. The engine oil not looking good but the smell was not that bad and looked like the oil dilution problem was not that serious in my case.
Picked Motul 15W50 and the oil temp have been keeping quite well since then (around 100C). Also put in the thermostat to further improve the temp control on coolant (around 90C).
This oil filter was picked up in Japan which seemed to have magnetic effect to keep away the impurities to upkeep the engine performance and maintenance.
The spark plugs looked really bad and should be due to the commonly mentioned stock AF ratio problem. The 1st step here is to replace by 8 degree HKS plugs which improved the situation a lot. The next step by Stage 3 would be seriously adjusting the AF ratio by F-CON IS.
The GT wing has adjusted a little bit to lower the angle after the run-in period.
Suspension also lowered a little bit. Not able to be too aggressive due to the uncivilized road conditions here (esp those fxxking design car park entrances / exits with steep slopes and high bumps). Would likely lower another 1-2cm if it proved to be work in those car parks I commonly visited.
Here comes the most critical part, i.e. the EVC.
Mode A is now set at 1.0 bar while Mode B 1.3 bar. The gasoline quality here in China is real poor otherwise more aggressive setting can be used. No dyno testing can be run here due to lack of facilities. Ha ha no kidding and that’s why we are still a developing country after all. Overall the performance is quite impressive and stable.
Some more pictures taken lately:
Hereunder is Stage 3 to be started in coming months.
Stage 3:
1. HKS Intercooler Pipe
2. HKS Catalyzer
3. HKS / Tomei front pipe + Outlet
4. F-CON IS Tuning
5. 265/35/19 Upgrade with Advan RS-D Wheels
6. Brembo Front 6 Rear 4 Kits

Ha ha, it took me a year (while waiting for the official sale here in China) to figure out such Japanese GT-look but in neat style. My goal is to make it looks like a stock race car (like from JUN) but I need to tastefully cross-pick goodies from JUN, Ralliart, Colt Speed and HKS rather than just a single-brand demo X. It is a tough job but glad that it turns out quite well.
