I just realized that you traded in your one-year-old GTS that is MY2009, for a brand new Evo that is MY2008. That's kind of funny, another fine example of the *** backwardness of Mitsubishi

Oh yea, I know I could find it somewhere on this forum, but what exactly is this stuff i heard about all new evoXs needing a reflash of sorts? any other issues I should have them address this week? I am bringing it in monday cause they said they are going to have the body shop guy remove a couple of scuffs I noticed on the side skirts.

if the manufacturing date of your evo is before April'08, then it prolly needs the latest factory ECU flash. It fixes possible rough idle & engine hesitation (at higher RPM) issues, also leans out the air to fuel ratios a little bit for improved gas mileage. I had mine done yesterday and it seems acceleration feels smoother. I recommend you check your manufacturing date if your X does need a reflash, plus you can also have the hood latch cable recall done at the same time.

Congrats dude.

Why did you get a wheel warranty? You're going to stick with the stocks?
