awesome job! looks sweet - can you pm me the price as well?

i was thinking of going black in the center of my hood w/ blue on the sides at the bend - is that possible w/ this technique? will it hide any small dings in the hood?

jdm evo - yeah, ill be there. hopefully on some rims

ice1874193 - yeah, that would be possible. actually easier than doing the whole hood. only hard part would be cutting a good line.

price wise material would be about $400 (im currently making a template to break it down for everyone). install would depend on where you went and what they would charge (probably between 500 and 700)/did it yourself

red dragon - thanks. everyone had good things to say, i think only had one hater say anything about it when i was around. but it did look sad without rims. all the other wingless x's looked so much better.

It looks awesome man, I'm doing my X in matte gray hopefully sometime soon.

BTW: In my opinion the only wheels that look right on matte black are gloss black wheels... just my .02

for all those that wanted templates, i have them available for the 8/9 and x now...

i know there are people that i promised in pm, so ill sort through that and try and get them out.

if i forget you, im sorry, just pm me again... easiest way will probably be to pm me with your email so i can just attach the files...

the 8/9 came out to 75ft
the x came out to 97 ft (we have a bit more car)

notn41 - pm me your email and ill send you some measurements/a template/vinyl color codes. cost depends on install/doing it yourself and how much material you buy. even with 150ft, and 50ft of that being extra material (that i used all of learning) i did it for $1400

id say it can be done for 900-1200
