You know, I wasn't feeling the wingless look before.... But, with this trunk and the raised hood scoop, along with some nicely offset and wider wheels, the X looks beastly! I mean, with that trunk, the rear looks wider and improves the look of the stance a LOT.. Keep up the good work guys, I always enjoy what you guys bring to the table.

I really like the look of this trunk but do have a couple questions since this trunk is lighter than the stock unit;

Are there any issues with the trunk opening up too fast when you use the trunk release button, etc.

Do you have shut it differently (less force when closing it) since the trunk is made of carbon and not metal.

Anyone forsee any issues with the stock hinges/shock assembly or the trunk lid catch causing any stress cracks to the trunk lid, etc., from normal usage?

Also about the 12th photo down on the first page of the thread there is a caution sticker on the trunk says FRP, does that mean part of this trunk is made of FRP, just looking for some clarification.

Thanks.

The trunk opens nicer than the stock one, nice and smooth all the way to the full open position, it does not get thrown like the old EVO7-9 did.

Very nice colour choice, and I like the duckbill more than the winged-look!
