I just used 3M double sided tape, and cut it to shape around the letters... If I would've looked harder, I'm sure there's some type of liquid adhesive that doesn't ruin paint.

Haha, yeah. I'm just experimenting with different placements. I was rolling around clean and badgeless for a few weeks. Decided to try it out and see how it grows on me. But when its all red, that damn button sticks out like a sore thumb. Do-Luck trunk = fix? lol

I've got a couple ideas floatin around that I might take action on tomorrow with this stuff.... Since it peels off, might as well, right? If I do it, it'll be tomorrow, and I'll def post pics for some constructive feedback...

I used a folded up napkin to protect from the flathead I used to pry it out.... It still snapped one of the diamonds off though! But from what I hear from others that have done the same, this is expected. The way its put in there makes it really difficult to get out clean. Maybe if you have a heatgun, it'll be easier.

I wouldn't imagine that you'd get an even coat of this stuff on the whole wheel. Its perfect for smaller projects in that one smooth coat is easier to put on. I found that if you try to coat over imperfections, it doesn't hide it very well. you have to add a lot more coats to eventually smooth that area out. The fact that it peels, rather than flakes (in my experience), would make the wheels look like S#!t.. And I don't know about you, but if I spent the time and effort into painting each wheel, the last thing I'd want is to find a scratch or a peel on one of em. The powdercoating method is more expensive, obviously, but the enamel that gets baked on is way stronger and better looking IMO.

Plasti-Dip projects...
B/c I'm curious on how this stuff looks on body work, I'm gonna try something that might warrant some flaming, but whateva! Since I have the Aero kit, I've wanted to make the front air dam look like it does without it.. Meaning the black area in front would go all the way down... Also, the hood scoop looks good CF'd, so I'd like to see it PD'd....For example, the circled areas would be PD'd.... Any comment are appreciated.
