Just got the TS hood delivered this morning! Going to install it when I get out of work today...looks pretty cool.

Thanks to CVR Motorsports for hooking me up

The vents are white - they are pretty ugly....i got the hood installed last night. I had to run out and get washers and i ended up running out of daylight. so long story short I need to adjust the fitment tonight and i should be good to go. carbon looks awesome in the light - i've only seen it in pictures before....biggest prob w/ the install was the window washers - one wouldnt fit so i had to shave it down.

took the pic this morning w/ my cell - will have some better ones once i get the hood adjusted.

does anyone know if i need to reinstall the heat shield?

The heat shield was not reinstalled on my friends Seibon CW-style hood on his X. I also painted the vents a gloss black & they've held up great so far (regular gloss spray paint too - not high heat). If little twisted metal tabs are holding them in place (like on my friend's hood), just untwist them & leave the one side still glued on, then pull off the vents. It's pretty easy.

Looks very good. OB and carbon fiber looks so good together.

Does anyone know how Seibon's clearcoat holds up? I was thinking about ordering some pieces but I wasn't sure about the life of the clear coat. I wouldn't want to pay for it and it start fading in about 6 months like the cheap ebay ****.
