What is the best drying method?

What do you think is the best material to dry after wash? The best way to maintain your paint and clear coat. Are shammies a bad way to dry off your car?

A technique I like to do when initial towel drying is to remove the head/pressure nozzle from the hose so it's just flowing water. I then go all around the car and let this constant stream flow, letting it sheet off most of the water that would be on the car if I hadn't done this. This cuts the drying time in half. I then blot dry the little excess that is still on the car with microfiber waffle weave towels. And I also have a chamois absorber I stick in the crevices/mirrors/etc. that I do at the end to absorb the excess hidden water still on the car so I don't have any dribbles or surprise water marks later on.

Here's a couple shots of my relatively new PB Evo GSR after her weekly wash. Last shot is next to my cousin's Evo as well. Sorry about the underexposure.

I love that stuff. I use it on all my cars, works wonders for a quick wax between washes. Smells great too.
