damn bro, in my case i wanted the Audi's R8 style incorporated into the housing. They said they it wasn't possible (which i recently saw someone do it). So they told me they were going to make them better, which they did IMO. But you're waiting a year for what they did with mine o_0 ? That's what i'm getting from the pictures. only difference i see is they added a 2nd halo. my aftermarket projector doesn't have it. try convincing them to give you what you want. i had patience with mine because i was their first X customer. so they were playing around with ideas on mine and they had to outsource to do something in place of the daylight driving side.

- repaint the housing matte black so it matches that OEM panel underneath the DRL housing (just like I did with weap0n's HLs)

- maybe paint the CCFL halos with a light coat of tint spray. The white rings sorta ruin the all blacked out look. Also, they should have fitted the DRL halo with the wiring at the top of the DRL housing instead. That way the bonnet can over hang to try and hide that detail.

Its the small things mentioned that can give it an improved look. Too bad you couldnt activate my plan B .... dont know how much it cost you but you definately would have got change back and definately not 12 months to finish it.

What are you going to do about the RED LEDs since you wanted ORANGE? Surely you wont be using RED on the streets? There's alot of RED lighting that escapes the projectors. Gives it an unclean look

The DRL housing is actually Phantom Black paint matched to my car which I wanted I think it'll look cool.

I like the idea on the tint of the halo ring though I'm totally going to do that.

As for the Red if I open them up I'm going to replace the LED with an amber one for sure and make those side gated LEDs also in amber to match.

As for the R8s (Audi style line) that is the other thing I know I have, he figured out how and I'll be the first with it. From them, he told me the video of it is done he is just editing it so I'm anxiously waiting to see the video come online soon I hope. As for the side reflectors I might just remove the paint from them and tint them to match the rear STM reflectors I have. But I'm still not sure if the requested amber LEDs are on the reflectors at this point I really hope that they are in which case I only have a few things to change once I get them back.

Waiting a year sucks, but waiting a year to not get what you wanted 100% REALLY SUCKS, my spirt has been pretty crushed since I learnt it wasn't going to be exactly what I wanted :\

Who knows might have to send to to you for those final touches yet Lets call it Plan C

so just to keep everyone updated as promised, I have tracking on a pkg that I will get April 8th unless the border delays it. only 2 days more then 1 year since I paid in full.

On the down side there was parts that were forgotten so I hope they get put in the mail as they are very small :\
