I agree the style of these wheels dont do anything for the X. Its your car and if you like them rock them whatever color you want but i would say go with something else that is already gold. You should get something more aggressive. You ask for opinions and you got em, don't get mad.
If you don't want Volks or Enkei's then these are a nice option and you can have RRM powdercoat them gold for you

The wheels are too tall, too skinny, and the offset is not very aggressive. Also the colors just don't work. You need a traditional style rim with concavity or deep dish, with a low offest and wide enough to fill up the fender.18 x 9.5 +22 is a great and common size wheel that sits flush. As far as color goes, time attack style and gold painted rims go perfect.
Does anyone else here feel what I'm saying?
It's not something you have to like or do, it's just what most evo owners feel what looks right on the X.

yeah man, those wheels just take away from the X. sell em and buy anything thats at least an inch wider and +20 offset. any wheel with those specs is an upgrade.. just my 2 cents

lip is too thick, stands out too much, doesn't match the red paint (robs away from it in fact), and makes the wheels look smaller than they are. plus you're on stock height, which makes them look even smaller.
plus your offset sucks. it's unique, but it sucks.
i have te37's. sure i'm "just another guy with te37's" but they're good looking te37's. you never hear "damn them te37's are butt ugly." you just don't. your justification is like saying "everyone has kw/jrz/zeal coils so i should go get ksports."

The diameter/width/offset of wheels can make or break the appearance of a car.
Granted the wheels are by Rays Engineering, but you are doing it all wrong by going with that size/offset.
Check out the aggressive fitment thread and you shall learn a few things about getting the right size/offset wheels to make your car look great.

First, anything narrower than a 9" wide rim on an X is a waste, Second to have a similar to factory offset is also a waste, and third, to have a color keyed rim that dosent match the car looks like rice.
Sorry man but those wheels ruin your car, buy a honda or go back to stock. my .02 $
