Installed AEM Wideband Wifi

It came in this morning and took about an hour to install. Works great in and outside of the car. AEM say's it will work from 100 yards away. You could follow your A/F's from the outside while your car is on the Dyno. I mounted the Wifi box behind my glove box so I could leave my USB cable sitting in the glove box. Sorry no pics of the wifi box installed. It was to dark for my phone. I hope these pics helps anyone who was thinking of picking one up

All I need now is a mount for my Ipod.

Yeah its just a little big lol

How do you like it so far? any issue, or was it hard to install and get working? Can you still hook up a digital gauge? i just got a 3 port gauge pod and was planning on filling one of the spots with a a/f gauge. Thanks for your help.

He that's really cool, I love gadgets myself.
Why would you need it to be wireless?
What are the pro's?

you need one of these:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/TV...co=MTA4MzY5Njg

also, does it require for you to ALWAYS have WIFI? what if your on the road and want to see your AFR? how fast is the refresh rate of the AFR? looks stealthy and not too many guages to distract you.

So far so good. I don't think you could hook up to a digital gauge. Installation was Extremely easy as long as if you already have a bung installed. In My case I had one already on my test pipe. To install you hook up 3 things.

1. Sensor
2. Power (cigarette lighter fuse)
3. Ground

Then I use double sided tape to sick the box in the cabin.

Honestly I would say Get the digital gauge if you already have the pod for it. The Gauge is cheaper. I don't want allot of gauges in my cabin. This will save me from mounting up to 3 gauges.

You can pick up the signal from any phone that has wifi. Ipod, Droid and Storm2.A big pro is just not having another gauge in the car. If I want to monitor my A/F's I just take my Ipod out my pocket lol. Its all in preference

Thanks Man I was looking for a mount and that's the best one yet. Of course it made to much sence for me to check apple.com. lol
Refresh is extremely fast. I'll get a vid this weekend. As for does it always have to have Wifi. Yes to read it with your Ipod but it also has a USB cable to connect to a laptop. I haven't tryed that out yet.

Not really on topic but did you paint your wheels yourself? Can you post a pic of them? They look decent.
