Exclamation Autocity Import's D-Speed Trunk Lid on Rally Red

First off I want to give a shout out to Joseph down at Auto City Imports. He got this to me very fast and in great condition. The customer service I received was great. Now on to my personal impressions of the trunk. I think it’s a very nice piece. I know that it’s not the real thing but I didn’t want to drop all that money on the original. The fitment is decent and it looks awesome. I have received tons of compliments on the car since I put this on. Overall I think it’s a great addition to the car. Check out Autocityimports.com or give them a call. Their number is posted on the website. Feel free to ask any questions…

You said fitment was "decent"? Pics are not too big so harder to notice but looks like the tail lights on the trunk part is noticeably higher than the outters? Any other fitment issues with uneven spacing from gaps right to left and others?

Looks pretty good. How is the tail light alignment? There also appears to be a pretty big gap at the bottom of the trunk

sorry man, from far out it probably looks "decent" as you've said, but even in these pics, tail-light fitment/alignment seems to be off between trunk and body, and gaps around the trunk like-whoa. just my personal opinion.

but if it makes you happy, more power to ya. its your car, and your opinion is all that really matters in the end

Could just be the angles, but those look like some serious gaps.

Doesn't look too off... I am sure there can be some adjustments made to get it sitting right with the tails.

Anybody else think it looks like the trunk is popped?

There's pretty much the same gap at the bottom as I'd see with my trunk popped, and everything else is shifted just the same.

Aside from it looking like everything is "up" compared to stock, the trunk itself looks gorgeous. I'd get one of these and paint it if only it didn't make the natural lines look like crap.

^^^Yeah I think it does...I don't know man..honestly why not just save and wait .....the trunk gaps are really noticeable. It's your car as long as you're happy then..that's what counts..
