Damaged front bumper = Cover w/ Lip?
Hello,
I damaged my bumper a couple days ago:
(Deleted)
The center portion of the lip area is torn off with all the under panel plastics gone. The bumper itself is cracked in multiple areas and was wondering if I would be able to just cover the damage up with an aftermarket lip?
Perhaps with something like this:
I'm not sure if I'm missing pieces that I'll need for the install. Advise is appreciated.
Thank you!

Regarding the broken tabs that you can see where the lip was, do I need some sort of attachment there? Or am I looking at the remains of what was the lip?
I haven't looked at it yet, but my foglight shroud is broken off the bumper. I need to pull it on the weekend, but it feels like I'll have to jb weld. Maybe I can jb weld my cracked windshield too?

You can get that front piece from rexspeed in CF. Probably cheaper than buying OEM.
I have taken that piece off and installed the ravspec lip, it will sag in the middle. I personally didn't like that.

Not by much, from the pics you might just have enough. And it is cf/fg, so it can't "sag" that much since it's not a long piece.
But either way, get the lip, test it, and if you need a "lift"...just mickey mouse it.
turn 13...is that "magic mountain"?

This was my first time at this track with the X as well. My last was *2:15--, but my times were decreasing dramatically as I began to find the rhythm of the track. I quit early that day when I uncovered more damage than met the eye, mainly the cracked windshield from the impact.

ah ok, yeah i dropped from like 2:35 to 2:19 that was my fastest, i don't think i did too bad for my first real track day haha.
like the others said just get the lip first, cf isn't that flimsy, i don't think it will droop down.

I'm saving Buttonwillow for last. Everyone i've talked to makes magic mountain the scariest thing on that track. It almost sounds like any little error...you'll ride the dirt or roll. But hopefully I'l be out there soon. Big Willow is coming up for me.
