Track Day at Infineon on June 26

Hi all just wanted to show off my baby at her first event. She did very well, we got to take her out in a TT (Time Attack) Event and we were passing some race prepped Porsches and all sorts of cars. It made me feel good.

nice.
i stopped by to say hi to some of my friends that run the tt group and saw your car there. i was parked right at the tt rig with my pb x and you parked behind me at one point by the stands.
were you in group 4 or tt? if tt what kind of times did you turn. man it was damn crowded in that group. no way to get a clean lap out there haha.
glad you had fun out there and that the car did well. i'm sure i'll see you around if you hit more events.

Most likely moving down to the Bay Area in the next couple of months. How often are there open track days at Infineon or LS?

Here is the NASA NorCal Calendar: http://www.nasanorcal.com/2010_general.htm

As for me It was my very first event, I was in Grp 1. However I offered my friend to take me out in Grp 4 / TT with my car and he gladly accepted and say some very good things about the car like it felt like a V8 and he loved how it felt going around the track and the shifter had just the right feel to it some notchy but not obnoxious, just the right amount.

Quang-Star*: I signed up for Grp 2 of Thunder Hill. and I will probably sign up for Oct, Nov @ Infineon.

smack_evo: Yeah I remember seeing your PB X, there were a few X's there. I say a Instructor had a Blue GSR base, someone had a GG MR and your PB X.

don't forget thunderhill as well. also a fun track and the most forgiving if you go off.
there are a ton of different groups running trackdays around here.

ncrc
hooked on driving
trackmasters
nasa

these are the major groups off the top of my head that run days at norcal tracks. there are definitely others as well but they don't run as many events.
lotus club, volvo club and t.e.a.m. all do a couple events each and are pretty inexpensive if you can catch those.

good luck and hope to see you out there...

My first thought was that I wanted to wash his car. haha. I'm sure it was a blast...I can't wait to try another track (BIR is closest for me).

Sweet! Heard good things about Thunderhill but didn't realize it was in Norcal. Cannot wait!
