WW Evo - new vs. old!
#34
Perrin turbo inlet tube and AFE Stage 2 Dryflow intake kit.
The X, when stock even, would handle circles around the IX which had tons of chassis bracing, Swift Sport springs, and a Whiteline rear anti-sway bar. Now that the X is lowered with a rear swaybar it's not even close.
HAHA yup, had a pile of parts in my garage before I even got the car
Very different cars, but both real Evolutions underneath the skin. The X is a much better daily-driver; smoother, more comfortable, and more creature comforts. The backseat seems a bit smaller than the IX's and the trunk seems tiny due to the battery location and sub. The X did lose some of the raw performance feeling the IX had, but actual performance is all there plus some. Mitsu did a decent job of refining the car. The X seats are better bolstered, but both sets of Recaros are very comfortable for long drives.
