My 360 View: Fresh's X
Nothing crazy to see here. "Just a little bored" post. Figure since I haven't posted lately. I should probably update on some things on my car.
Back on the Fourth of July, my clutch crapped out on me on the highway. Leaving me and my passengers pushing my car out to the nearest exit and leaving my car in a private parking lot of a Verizon Wireless store for the holiday, since apparently there are no tow trucks with flat beds available until hours after the fireworks.
So not only I wasn't able to watch fireworks. I had to abandon my car at a parking lot overnight and since a lot of Evo thefts have been going on in Chicago. It didn't help my worries.
The next morning after the holidays, first thing I did when I woke up was call a towing company that would take my car to DS1 Motorsports without ripping my front bumper apart. I'm so thankful that I didn't have a tow truck driver that would just throw my car on the flat bed without a care. The guy spent a good 30 minutes using wood planks and other things to make sure my car doesn't eat it when going up.
Here's some pics to share: (Sorry for the crappy iPhone photos)
Safely got my car over to DS1 Motorsports took them a good two weeks to get my car back to shape. With the upgrades of an Exedy Stage One clutch & an ACT flywheel. It took me awhile to get used to the clutch since the release point is A LOT lower than OEM.
In the two weeks my car was at the shop, I had purchased AERO side skirts & rear extensions that haven't been touched for three months and needed to be painted since the side skirts were WW and rears were OB. Luckily, I got an uncle that has experience with painting so all I had to do was buy the materials and have leftovers for future painting projects.
As soon as I got my car back, I slapped those bad boys on.
The same day, late that night, I met up with a local X owner, that I've been talking to about trading my Agency Power exhaust for his Ultimate Racing, so that night we met up and swapped exhausts. I'm very happy about the trade. The Ultimate Racing looks a lot cleaner, which is the look that I'm going for compared to the Agency Power. Although the Ultimate Racing is a lot quieter, I expect to throw in a test pipe in the near future, when the funds allow.
I've been wanting to post pics lately, but haven't got the chance to go drive around and find a place to do a photoshoot. So I decided to take pics of the car before it got dark out on the driveway. Cleaned it during the weekend, but I think it drizzled while I was at work. I'll get some nicer pics sometime soon! But these will do for now!
Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the feedback guys! I don't think my car is low enough! Haha. I'm thinking about lowering the front a little bit. Does the wheel liner have ducts that stick out? I haven't really looked because I know at bumps I'll hit them 5. But if I sanded it down I can probably avoid some rubbing.
The tires are Nitto NT555 275/18/35, BTW.
