Received from Ravspec last week, excellent service and pricing. I will be taking them to a painter and having them painted black next week.

In the shadows it looks pretty good, so if you live in Seattle or some place the sun is not out much it would probably be fine.

I did a custom white balance with a target to make sure I was getting correct color. Shot with 5D Mk2 with 24-70 2.8L

i remember when i saw these online. they made it too red. is it black with red pearls or is it just straight up brownish red color?

in the shade it looks good though. looks black in the shade. haha

interesting looking wheel. the color on the wheels with the red on the evo dont look bad, the wheel color on its own though does look a little funny. like it has brake dust on them or something. they look ok on the car though, everything together.

I have to see it with tires mounted. To be honest, I can't say I'm a fan of the way they look now though. Maybe tires will kind of balance it out though.

They are black rims with a red clear coat over the black which give them that brownish-red appearance. My BBM ones have a blue clear coat over the black but it is not nearly as noticeable as the red is. I think they will look a million times better when you get them painted black. Also I agree Mark @ Ravspec was excellent to deal with

the SA55M's have interesting colors.

i have the MGM and in pictures they look a little bronze and people think it looks dumb until they see it in person.

Looks kinda brown with the sunlight, I guess black would still be the best.
