Well, I used to own an evo 8 so I know why I want another evo. The problem is that when you have a wife and kids, the car also needs to have a bit of practicality. I don't want to buy the evo but end up driving my wife's minivan all the time because I can't use the evo for anything.

Oh well, need to do some more thinking ( still have to think about evo 9, sti, wrx etc..)

i had this problem after I bought the Evo...no big stroller can fit. Only those skinny ones that is for big babies. those baby strollers that detaches the car seats definitely wouldnt fit.

the MR has the sound package w/ the sub in the trunk, i have almost NO space and cant even fit my golf bag in the there. i live alone and when i do foodshopping (just for one person) that usually fills up the whole trunk. i guess it the price you pay for owning an evo
I have the sub in my trunk and I got my clubs in the back...maybe your clubs are massive? I had no problem with it plus its not like the subs take up thattt much space.

Ill have a pic up this afternoon of my trunk with golf clubs. fishing poles and tackle a camping chair and other **** it is full and I stil have room so not sure why everyone says the trunk is small it just depends on how you put stuff in there. I also have the sub and speaker package so you the sub is there too.

The small trunk is nice.....it gives me a legitimate reason to reject picking up my friends at the airport LOL

I bought the Stokke Explory Stroller (dont ever show your woman a high end stroller BTW) and would not even come close to fitting with the spare tire in there.

Had to remove all trunk inserts and spare tire to make it fit.....barely still. But then the Explory stroller isn't known to be very compact either.

I've got a kid and was trying to figure out what you're trying to figure out before I got my X. The short answer is: you can take the basics which you, it will just be jammed in there pretty good. I have a "standard" stroller for my car, and I can jam that in there with some other crap as needed and it works fine.

Besides, if I put anything in the X trunk, I try to pack it in pretty good, otherwise it flies all over the place.

But don't try and convince yourself that the X is a practical car in your situation (given the alternatives). Like others have said, you get this car for other reasons.
