Snow in SoCal??
Yup, my neck of the woods, Antelope Valley (a lil over an hour North of L.A.)... it snows once in a while.
Soooo...... I just finished replacing the front clip after replacing the final Chrome piece (YUCK) on my MR, with a ChargeSpeed CF Grill Frame (YAY!!!) I absolutely love the look!!! I also removed my Headlights, and replaced them with my Spares, since I'm gonna get them customized (Blacked Out with all the Goodies with help from a well known fellow forum member).
No sooner than I brought the EVO out of the canopy and it starts to snow...
...Side view of Fender Vents I also had a chance to install....
a little later it's still coming down.....
Soo it keeps dropping (and still is at this moment 8pm), so I decide to take her out for a spin in the fresh snow mixed with slush. I try it in Gravel mode and purposely tryout it out while in Oversteer and Understeer situations, I'm impressed with how well the car tracks and gives you cofidence even when all 4 wheels break loose. I switch it to Snow mode, and whoa, awesome!!! even with 50% tread on these Falkens, I hook up fairly well, considering the conditions. Even when wrecklessly breaking loose (not getting too crazy though), the car stays tracked, a testament to how well the YAW control on this EVO works. This car seems to always bring a smile to my face....

yeah, i was in the middle of this mess yesterday... on my way to bako on 5N just before Smokey Bear Rd exit is where it us pretty hard... CHP closed 5N all the way to grapevine... we had to exit on Smokey Bear and turn around... i had set it on Snow mode and it was amazing... even i was on stock tires with barely any tread left on my front tires, it still handled itself like a champ...
on my way back home, just past Lyons exit on Valencia, a Mustang was stuck on the #2 lanes, spinning his tires to heck... he cant even back up or move forward... felt sorry for him but i didnt stop. heck, i was tired!!! i got stuck in that traffic for close to 4 hours.

I figured there'll be some interest in my spare headlights. I'll post them up in the want/sell section when I'm ready (and pm folks who have PM'ed me already), which will probably be in the next couple months or so....
