I'm curious, I live in TX so I don't deal with this,b ut does a car cover help? Does the snow sitting on the car (besides the weight of it) hurt it? Maybe the paint in some way

The snow doesn't tear up the paint, the salt and sand they put on the road is what messes it up

Rain does a lot more damage than snow does. Snow > Rain

Sorry for the very crappy cell phone pics, but that's all I had in those 2 different situation.

First is during a big snow storm, there was around 12 inches of fresh snow in that parking lot.

The other one ..... well I was out of bounds ....

Here's the aftermath of some fun in the snow. Sorry, crappy iPhone photos. I should be going back out tomorrow with the DSLR.

All in all, I'm glad the front lip is still bolted onto the bumper. I blasted her through some 1-2' snow piles and she took it like a champ.

Snow-packed intercooler

Wipers were on rally speed

It definitely took a little while to warm up the Brembos before they'd work again

Lesson learned: don't forget to close your window before sliding around sideways...

Bonus action shot from last winter:
