STM's Number Ten (2011 WW SSL)

I hit a few cones, but still did relatively well for my first time.
The autocross was fun, but I still like drag racing much better. To be honest... I'm kinda bored with the car. It's a REALLY nice car. Almost too nice to mod. It seems a shame to lose the quiet ride and smooth shifting to an exhaust and twin clutch.
I don't like "modding just for the sake of modding" it's great the way it is. It's quiet, pretty, smooth, looks stock and runs 12's. Respectable.
I don't know what route to go. If we decide to go fast... it needs a big turbo and I like the Akropovic exhaust (that and it will match the Akropovic on Emery's white R1 ) but I don't know if it's worth it. Ricer is fast, next year, it's the white 1g DSM going to get the attention on the strip. It just doesn't make sense to make a drag car out of this X.
Truth be told, I miss my black VIII.

Did you see these pictures? From the Buschur/Motovicity IDRC in Ohio?

I see you had a co-driver/ride along?
The Evo10 like you said seems way to nice to mod. I feel it would be best suited as a DD with maybe a few mods, but nothing crazy. Its a pretty chill car compared to the CT9s which allows it to be a nice/fun DD.
What did you have in mind for it in the future?
Note: If you werent taking the pictures....who was? lol

2 best pictures IMO. I never seen those pictures before. Thanks for sharing.

And thanks! We will see what's in store for the X this year. The shootout is coming up and I'd much rather be running 11's than 12's

Sorry I haven't given any updates lately. We have been BUSY! Busy at the shop, busy with another business, busy moving our house! I have pictures on 2 different computers and they are never where I need them!
So.
I will take some pictures and get some visuals up soon!
I have some new tires, 245-45-18 Dunlop Starspec.
On the street, I like them more than the stock Advan's and the Continentals. They have been great in the rain and it just feels stupidly easy to hit corners.
Haven't been to the track yet to test them and I haven't launched on the street (not that I ever would, of course) but, just sayin. I need to keep this clutch intact until the time comes for the twin.
So, the last time it was on the dyno (at the old shop) it made 330/330. We put it on the dyno here at the new shop and got 300/300
So this kinda messes up the lovely log I had started. But anyhow. We added in a Cobb intake, (again, I'll have pics up soon) and an HKS SSQV 4. They don't really make a lot more sound, I can hear a bit more swoosh on spool and a little tschhhhh when I let out, but I am glad it's not obnoxious like some of the previous SSQ bov's. That litttle turbo is constantly on it.
It's now at 315 HP / 350 TQ. I understand the dyno is just a tool, and numbers don't really mean $hit, but it rips pretty well on the street.
I will certainly be ready at the DSM shootout in a few weeks though! Cant wait!!!
