do they look lighter or darker in real life?

did you take off the tires to paint them? did you bake them at all?

 

Are you using spacers? I can't quit tell, but it looks like it.

 

I think a little bit darker but the paint has a lot "flakes" or something. They really look good in the sun.

And I didn't take the tires off. I just wrapped them up with lots of newspaper and tape.

 

Nope. No spacers. I've thought about getting 20mm spacers but I think I'm just gonna keep saving and get new wheels eventually instead. I would love to get some TE37 SL's. I've got alot of red pieces and i think they would go perfectly with the rest of the color schemes.

should of used platic dip just in case you wanted to reverse it

 

in one day you:
remove the four wheels, took the tires out, deep clean the four rims, paint them (3 coats), clear cloated, dry it, mount the tires and sensors back and mount the four tires?
2 people? without professional tools?

I didn't want to reverse it. Trust me, there was no going back after the way we cleaned these wheels anyway. We scrubbed and cleaned until there was almost no finish left.

 

No. I have no way of breaking a tire down. I just wrapped them up. I thought about doing that but i figured if i didn't like the way they turned out I could just buy new wheels pretty soon.

 

Hey is your evo really that low or is it just the angle of pics? Do you scrape now without a lip?

 

It's low but not that low. It might just be the angle of the pics. My sister just moved into a new townhome and they have a HUGE lip I hafta get up to pull in the driveway. I have got to go in at an angle but I don't scrape on that. My mudflaps scrape on everything now because they're like less than inch off the ground.
