I have an octane blue evo x and Im getting the CBD carbon fiber hood. I dont want to leave the whole hood carbon fiber but would like to have some of the carbon showing. I really would like to paint the sides if there was a way to put carbon fiber on the one little piece of front bumper that is on the bumper. I also thought about just having carbon showing around the scoops. Im not good at photoshop so show me some ideas guys.

mask off the areas you want to leave painted with blue painters tape...that'll give you a decent idea

Yea I was thinking about something similiar but having more of the carbon leading torwards the scoops exposed

there is a process that can allow the weave to show through the paint.

it looks great in person. pictures do not give the "full effect".

How about fading the paint into the CF on the reverse vents? so that it gradients approx. where the lines of the vent channel end?
