5 cracked spokes randomly...what?? Please look and help!
So I was just standing by my car with my buddies and all of a sudden I saw something different on my wheel. I look and 3 of my spokes on my driver-side rear wheel are cracked and I look at the other 3 wheels and my passenger side front wheel has only 2 cracked spokes but they're even worse. Is this something I can take to Mitsu and complain about to get them covered by mitsu or am I sh*it outta luck and need to look for new rims asap. Not sure if it will matter that they're powdercoated. Please help! Thanks.

DANG! That sucks bro. Honestly, I would think you would be SOL because they are powdercoated. Even if that didn't weaken them, which it prolly did, Mitsu will try to blame it on that. I think with wheels, you can only heat them up to a certain temp when PC'ing or it weakens them..

They are pc'd and were done last august so it's been 10 months and I've only had the car for a year now. I've also had horrible paint bubbling on my driver side side-skirt. For what we pay for these cars, you think some more quality product would be used...

Powdercoating can definitely weaken the structure of certain wheels. I'm assuming the spokes are actually cracked, and not just the finish?
Best of luck, don't drive on them like that!

I have had multiple sets powdercoated and i ALWAYS instruct them to bake them at lower heat than usual. If too high of a heat is used to speed it up, then it can definitely ruin the integrity of the metal.
Replace that wheel asap. Good luck.

I would def order some wheels SOON. Don't look at it as a "buzzkil", just look at it as a reason to get new wheels. if you can't afford to buy new wheels, not even rotas, then I would suggest trying to find someone near you that has an X with some stock wheels you can borrow/buy.

OUCH! As others have said DO NOT DRIVE on those wheels. It looks like one or more could come apart at any time...one pot hole or bump and you could be in a serious wreck.
Check your auto insurance policy quick! If you altered the car and that alteration caused the wreck you may not be insured. Check the fine print closely.
Good news!! You can get those wheels you have been dreaming about.
Almost forgot, Mitsu will not fix it especuially if they can tell they have "messed" with.
