Picked up my 2011 Evo X this time last year and haven't posted anything bout it yet so I figured I'd do it now before I change set-ups in the spring I'm no noob to Mitsu's. I've been DSM scene for a while and re-built my 92 Plymouth Laser back in high school. So after I had my fun with it I decided to trade my daily n sell the laser to get into the X. I have no regrets

Took it to Akuma to get the bolt-ons installed and tuned. Got nothing but great things to say about the shop, John, and everyone else. Very happy with the quality of work done. Made 330hp/300tq.

Plans for 2012 are to max out the stock turbo (maybe send it in for porting) and get a nice suspension set up. Just picked up some RPF1's (18x10.5 +15) just waiting to send em in for powder coating and to get my coils!

on the intercooler. Its unique yeah, but looks rusted.....

 

I like the engine bay!! Did you wrap the UICP & Intake pipes with blue? Or did you powder coat them? I personally am not feeling the FMIC color but it is different so Props for trying to be original. Ive never seen a gold FMIC on a X.
Exhaust looks awesome too!

 

The FMIC is going to be up for sale in January. I need a thicker one so prob going to go with a dif color, something more "stealth". Thanks for the props! My piping was powder coated a blue I picked out, also getting them re-powdered lol. The exhaust actually came out exactly how I wanted/pictured it.
