Btw, how's the ride on the H&R's? Does the front shocks bottom out when driving?

Yeah, I know I'll need to roll the fenders for sure. As far as ride quality goes, the H&Rs aren't bad at all. The front shocks do not bottom out as far as I know

I had the H&R's before my KW's. Did not care for them much for what it's worth (next to nothing, I know ). The ride quality was very harsh and uncomfortable.

Holy another Winnipegger?? Would love to see your car one day Where do you get 94 octane? Husky or somewhere else?

Thats just it. I had a Prelude lowered and even though I didnt get stuck I did bottom out everywhere. Don't want to have to do that to the evo and I dont want to swap springs every season either

Evo does NOT = Prelude. Completely different frame and dimensions. I've lowered every car I've owned (2 Preludes included) and I'm on car #14 (I'm 34 years old ). Lowering the Evo, a rally car at heart, is nothing like lowering a Honda, especially a Prelude. This is why you don't settle on springs. You get into KW (quality) coilovers at a minimum - this way you can adjust the height for all seasons/desires. It is by far the best investment you can make in your car.

Just my 17.5 cents.

I hear what you are saying. Generally I'm not a fan of installing springs on stock shocks but it seems a lot of people here do that. I assumed it was because our stock shocks can handle it but I havent put much thought into it.

My Prelude had Koni Yellow's with Ground Control coilovers. Every time you adjust the height you technically need an alignment so I set my suspension to the height I liked and never changed it lol.

I know the evo is a different beast all together but if its low its low...meaning its still going to bottom out in deep snow and ice. Back lanes have huge ruts around here and I really dont want to put the undercarriage through that kind of abuse

So I'm a fan of all things shiny. I think adding a little chrome on a wicked white would look good. .. ?

Yeah I see a lot of guys/gals who do that. Not my preference as it looks unfinished to me. Also depends on the wheel.

I think directly linking is against the rules but if you google "xxr wheels" the first hit that should come up is NL Motoring. They always have the most stock of every style. I swear I should get royalties or something since I advertise for them so much.
