Latest Interior Mods: Lathe Werks knob + Trim Wrap + Redline Goods
Hey guys just wanted to put up a thread showing off what I’ve been up to with my X. The car is my daily so I spend a lot of time commuting in it…so upgrading the interior was one of the priorities for me. My basic goal was to improve the interior to how it should of came, and to keep everything clean/classy. Here’s a list of what I’ve done so far inside:
- MMCS OEM Navigation system (N-05)
- Lathe Werks ~500g Shift knob (Gunmetal finish)
- Works short shifter + bushings
- Wrapped OEM faux-cf trim (3M Brushed black metallic)
- Redline Goods (5% discount with link) shift boot, e-brake boot, and padded arm rest (Black nappa leather with light grey stitching to match OEM pieces)
- Weathertech all season floor mats
Yes, I know my interior is dirty. :-P I'll take more pics after a detail, but heres some recent ones.
More shots of the shift knob..(might as well put them in here too )
This thing really does feel amazing, cant believe I was missing out on this the whole time! I'm glad I chose to go with the grooves since it gives a great grip at the bottom. Chris from LatheWerks was also really helpful with everything meeting my demands lol.
Still to do:
- Add overhead ambient LED for nighttime visibility + glove box light
- Add rear dome light because the sunroof package doesn’t include one
- Complete the audio
- Finish wrapping door trim

Thanks all! The shift knob is from Lathe Werks. The leather boots from RedlineGoods (5% off).
The vinyl wrap is the 3M scotchprint stuff in the "black brushed metallic" finish. They have a lot of other styles as well such as brushed titanium and brushed aluminum. Got it on eBay for under $10 shipped...I think the seller was auto vinyl solutions or something. To do all the interior panels I've shown + the door trim, you can get by with 5' x 1' if you dont mess up. Oh and the cars a 2011.

I like your style! I may have to mimic some of your ideas since you took the interior in the same direction I had in mind. Very classy!
Could you possibly link me to which knob and boots you got?
