Cosmic Blue on H&R Springs and 25mm Spacers

It's been a few weeks and I couldn't stand the wheel gap anymore. I was originally going to get the H&R Coilovers, but decided to save up for the Cobb power package and get the H&R Springs instead.

After researching I decided to go with H&R Springs with 25mm H&R Spacers.

Here are some proper before and after photos with Springs+Spacers

Now before and after shots
(Before shots were taken at 8am before my appointment and after shots were taken around 1pm when I got back after installation and alignment)

Then gave her a bath cause she had grease all over her

So fresh and so clean clean*

I love the drop. I think it's perfect. About a one finger gap all around. Not too low, but low enough with a good ride and a good amount of stiffness. If I got the coilovers I probably would have lowered the car the same amount.

So far haven't had any problems with rubbing. I kinda wish I got 30mm spacers :P

Nice! It looks great and the spacers really set it off. How are you liking the ride quality? Also where did you get the H&R springs at? I too just picked up an Evo from SCM and wondering how HR compares to Swift R. Looking to drop the ride soon

Took a quick pic to show the gap up close

The bottom of my finger is on the tire and the fender is about a cm from my knuckle. And I'm not bending my finger or anything. Seems like the car settled in a little more since earlier. It's about 1.5 fingers up front and just a little more than 1 finger in the back

Awesome! Yeah the wide fenders look even better with the wheels pushed out.

I really dig the ride quality. A little stiffer than stock. Not bouncy. They're still settling in. But so far so good

I'm not sure about the drop with the spec r's. those were my other options, but according to the website they're about a 1" drop and the h&r's are about a 1.5" drop. But it seems more like about a 1.75" - 2" drop

This is the exact drop I want for my CB GSR as well. It looks perfect!

Do you come close to scraping? I have the OEM aero kit and I'm not sure how much it drops down compared to stock.

Nice! I agree, they're great springs. I really like them. And if I had gotten coilovers I probably would have set the dampening to the same stiffness these springs have.

Which springs did you switch over from?

I know! I can't wait for them to fully settle in

Haha thanks! CB FTW

I sorta come close to scraping. But then again the driveways here in southern california are pretty steap.

I'm planning on getting the JDP lip and I know I'll scrape that for sure
