This is so weird.

I'm working on an article for the site with suspension, and am using a Phantom Black Evo X. Because of this, I want really high contrast, so I want silver wheels. White is too much contrast, IMO.

I want something simple: 5 or 6 spoke. So TE37s, Advan TCIII, Gram Lights, or Rota Grids would be fine. There's a set of P45R in Hyper Silver, but I don't really like those as much.

All the current popular wheels are super dark or red. I could special order, but don't want to pay and wait till 2014.

Surely other people like silver wheels? I have looked through every vendor on this site, and Mackin's page. I guess silver just isn't popular at all. Am I missing something? Help an old man out.

personally I prefer the darker colored rims for the contrast. I have flat black for my OB blue and have had Flat black in the past for my PPW 350z. i know flat black is over used, but it's what i prefer. On your colored car though, I've seen a bright orange color done for the wheels and I thought it looked pretty damn good. I think they were TE37's.

I'm not a big fan of silver, but I could live with it like I did for a little while with the stock brush silver enkeis. Chrome I absolutely hate.

EDIT:

Not the TE37's I was talking about, but the color works okayyyy IMO..

I did that orange plasti-dip on my winters. I run matte black summers. I'm an OB though.

I'm too old to appreciate or pull off orange, red, yellow, or other wild wheel colors. Plus I live in Tennessee and hate the Vols. KILL IT WITH FIRE.

Could you just powdercoat/paint them? Just an idea.

Formula silver RE30s. that has been my favorite color/wheel combo. A local evo had it (19x10) and it looked great. I would only go 18" though.

The only Varrstoen ones I could see getting are the 2.2, but I don't know if the finish would look very nice from the pics on their site.

I'd rather stick with a known quantity and a current Evom vendor.

NT03+M comes like only in silver unless you want to pay 25% more.

I'm getting a set soon that I'll get powder coated.
