Fender Vent Removal Thought

I've seen guys with this done and I think it looks good and functional. I'm wondering for those of you with them off, is it okay in the rain or with moisture in general? I was concerned with it affecting the brakes Thanks for any feedback y'all might be able to shed.

No issues; run them removed for about a year. Everything is painted behind there so no rust, and the factory ones actually are functional. So no change in weather exposure. They are also there to vent heat from the engine bay, not the brakes. If you look under the hood, along the fender, there is a gap about 6"x1". This is where the heat from the bay exits and out through the fender.

I removed mine about 2 years ago. Never had any issues from moisture or rain. I think it gives the car a better, more aggressive look to it. IMO

Thanks guys for the help. Never hurts to ask. I knew the factory ones were functional, I just figured it would be even better more exposed. This will be my project today
