You shouldn't have anything to worry about with a 255 tire.

got the rims on stock tires for now. No rubbing issues what so ever lock to lock. May need spacers though. I asked the installer if it would be possible to put 265's on and he did not think so.

wait...you got the stock tires on the 18 x 9.5s? I wasn't aware that would work...that changes things for me!

I would not recommend running a 255/40/18 tire. This tire size is larger than your stock rolling diameter and will most likely rub your fender liner on full lock turns. 245/40/18 stock tires do work however a 265/35/18 would be an ideal choice if you are getting new tires.

Stock 245/40/18 tires do work on 18x9.5 wheels, you can run as small as a 235/40/18 (very stretched) on this wheel size. It is recommended to go wider though for the best fitment on the wheel and overall match to your stock rolling diameter (or close to).

well my main concern was that I didn't want to waste the life of my stock tires if I didn't have too...so i was going to get 8.5 even though I really want the 9.5. Knowing I can run the stock tires on a 9.5 is awesome though...not I can get what I really want!!! Obviously when I get new tires, I will get a wider tire.

With stock tires and 18 x 9.5 +20...will I still need a camber adjustment? Also...I am on Eibach springs.

Thanks for the help!

should be fine as long as you got an alignment after the drop. If not have the shop take a look at your tracking.

This is on stock tire. I have another set with 275s and I had to get the rear fenders rolled.

Sexy as hell! Nice!

I definitely want to avoid rolling fenders.
