I'm not sure owning a ford gives you the win lol. Curious to see something wider than 10" on a stock body though.

Coming from a guy that owns a mitsubishi and a chevy...

Trailslide, what wheels are you running? If you still have the IRS in there, you're wheels must stick out horribly past the fenders.

I had 18's on it, but traded them for a set of 17" OEM looking replicas that were 17x9 in the front and 17x12.5 in the rear. I did have the IRS still, i used a small spacer and they fit fine, no rubbing or hitting the IRS bolt.

YES, they did stick out terrible and kicked up rain like a formula 1 car but IMO, I like keeping my cars quiet, simple, clean, & fast. The car looked amazing.

I traded the 18's cuz I couldn't even hook in 3rd

18's

17's & raised a bit

Well my dad has 4 corvettes! My dad is teh c00lest! Anyways, I have had 18x10's on my stock body, and the Evo X has more room, so I dont see why an 18x11 wouldnt fit.

Haha, now I know who you are from that cobra sig picture. I got hypercoated saleens on my GT partially because of that pic, and because I found them cheap used lol. I'm 'sunburned' on SVTP if you're wondering.

I wasn't aware they made a OEM replica wheel in a 17 X 12.5". I had the 17 X 10.5" replicas on my silver 04' and it looked just like yours with 315/35 BFG DR's on it. I just bolted them on and didn't have any issues. It was close to the frame rail though.

What Brand/Model wheels are you planning on using? The only ones I've found so far that are not as heavy as lead are the WedsSport SA-70TT. Comes in 18x11 (STD face, Hi pad) but I have not found a source for them yet. I need a set for my EVO IX. . . (currently running Weds original SA-70 in 18x10)

I would do some 3 piece Meisters, or a 3 piece VSXX. Im not sure on the weight in those sizes, but it wont be in the teens...

Quick Reply: If you have an Evo X, I want to put some 18x11's on it!!!
