All the TPS info Ive read on these forums say that the Evo TPMS require a special tool for programming. You need to have the dealer do it. Discount Tire wont be able to. Id suggest searching.

Got Ya by the *****

I have a Bartec Tech400+. It reads the stock sensors fine, but the Bartec does not have OBD communications with the 2010+ cars. So I can read all of the TPMS sensors, but there is no way to write the new information to the car. When I did try to write the information I created about three new warning codes in the ECU that I had to erase with another code scanner.

The latest word from Bartec is that they will have a compatible EZ Sensor released for the EVO's with their next batch of releases (I think they have been singing the same tune for quite some time). I wouldn't hold your breath.

1st post with pic describes this option.

I don't want to pay $200 for tpms sensors on every set of wheels I have and then $50+ for reprogramming every time I change my wheels. What a joke. I'll deal with the lights/alerts all day but it would be nice to find a fix.
