19x10 Tenzo Type-M Version 1 Matte Charcoal Racing Wheels

Anyone have these new tenzo type m wheels in 19x10 yet? I would love to see how they look on an evo X. They have a 22 offset, for that concave deep dish look, which I am digging. They are pretty inexpensive too for $1174 for a set, maybe cheaper if someone does group buy. Slap on 275s or 285s and you are set.

Here they are on my Lancer. Not +22, or 19x10. But you get an idea of the real world look.

Sweet, still has a little concavity on higher offset. I prefer mono color design more, but nice ride man. Congrats. Did you weigh the rim before you put it on?

Save some money and buy better wheels. You'll be much happier in the long run.

Hmmm, how would you save money by buying better(more pricey) wheels? I know a lot of people are snobs when it comes to wheel brands. I am not here to start a crazy debate on which wheel brand is the best; I say buy which ever wheel floats your boat. I mean someone with $6,000 top of the line HRE wheels would call
volks cheap. For me, as long as they look nice and reasonably priced, and don't break in half on the way to work, I'm all for it. Sorry for going .

So, back to the op. Anyone see these on any car in 19x10? All I could find were 18x8s.

When I say save money I mean put money aside and wait until you have enough to buy better ones.

I'm not a wheel snob, but I am a quality snob. Which would you rather have? A wheel made in a facility with high standards of quality control? or in some dimly lit hovel in the Chinese countryside?

Tenzo Is notorious for making sub-standard Volk Knock-off wheels

To quote Da Truth:

"Buying cheap parts for a car is like having an ugly girlfriend. You have to explain / rationalize your decision to bed that ugly ***** - you have to explain that you saved a bunch of money by buying this "great" substitute for the real deal... and that it performs just as good as the real deal. Uh huh. Other dudes with ugly girlfriends come to your aid because they're in the same predicament - BUMPIN UGLIES. Just the same, your "e-buddies" on the forums come to your aid and defend your decision to purchase that piece of **** part because they're in the same boat. And you high-5 one another on the forums for buying the same cheap ****. Nice. You must high five yourself for having ugly girlfriends too.

Look at all these idiots on one forum taking a VOTE whether to buy Rota wheels or not... and the virtual high-5s they give one another.

Link omitted

So all you Megan Racing, OBX, eBay, D2, Invidia, Rota and other cheap **** buying idiots, congratulations. You can close your eyes and pretend you're tappin some fine ***, but really... she's ugly, homie."

+1
Do yourself a favor and buy some better quality rims like Volks, Advans, SSR, or something along those lines.

No matter how quality the wheel is, it will still bend on a pot hole, and there goes your $700 down the drain. My buddy's 19in TE37 bent so many times, he decided to get rotas and stop caring for his precious wheels. I mean not like they are expensive jewelry you wear, they are in contact with ruff roads every day, unless you have a trailer queen; they're bound to get bent, scraped, etc. Why spend so much on them when you know they will get damaged or scuffed? Like I said, to each his own, and this is going off topic again. I'm not here for preaching on pricey wheels, so lets get back to the op please.

p.s. I don't need to "save" money, as I have plenty in the bank.

I would much rather have a high quality wheel bend and keep me safer in a dangerous situation than have an inferior quality wheel shatter and leave me with nothing more than my prayers to guide me through.

My $.02.

To be totally honest and also on topic, those Tenzos don't really do much for me from a purely aesthetic point of view.

Ok, I have no issues with saving money where possible. For instance EvolvedVIII hits on Megan. Can someone tell what the difference is in one 3" mandrel bent exhaust system as compared to another? I mean assuming that each one fits without rubbing, the exhaust does not know who's bent tubbing that it is going through. As long as niether is plumbed with a bunch of curves like a garden hose then one will not be better then another.

Now with that being said, there IS a difference in wheels. A no name heavy cast wheel will not performa as well as a high quality forged wheel. THe unsprung weight will be higher, and you will LOOSE whp due to the effort needed to spin up the heavier wheel not to mention strength differences.

I guess it all depends on the particular piece that you are buying. An exhaust is an exhaust by and large, but wheels and suspention pieces need to be given more consideration as far as what you are actually getting for the money. Not to mention engine internals...

I totally agree with you USP45. There are just some pieces that demand high quality and high end engineering.

Well, I got Tenzo's for my Lancer because.......it's a LANCER! No way I'm buying any rims that cost 1/10th the value of the car, lol.

For my X? I ordered Advan RS.

I wasn't directing my comments negatively towards you in any way, DirectorSe7en. Excellent choice in the RS for your Evo!
